We’ve been here in Gandhi Nagar 5 for a good while now. It is just a small office space where a few of us sit and try to keep things moving. Most days, it is just about handling the paperwork that comes through the door and talking to people from the neighborhood who stop by to ask questions about what is happening locally. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. You can usually find someone here from the morning until late afternoon, unless there is a meeting somewhere else. It gets a bit crowded during certain times of the year, especially when there is a lot of local activity going on. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the name on the door so people know where to find us. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just organizing files in the back room. It is a pretty straightforward operation and we just try to stay on top of the daily tasks. There is usually a pot of tea going and we just take things one day at a time. It's not a corporate setup at all, just a place for the party work to get done without too much fuss. We know the neighbors and they know where we are if they need anything basic.
