Relinace Life Insurance

Our office for Relinace Life Insurance is tucked away in the Laxmi Sree Lakshmi Apartment building over in Kaloor. It’s right across from Greets Public School, so we hear the kids during their lunch breaks and when the bells go off. Kochi is always humid, so we usually have the windows shut and the AC humming in the background to keep the papers from getting damp. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We’ve got a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a plastic water dispenser in the corner. People usually come in when they have questions about their paperwork or if they need to update something. We spend a lot of our time looking at forms and typing things into the system. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. Kaloor is a central spot, so getting here isn't too bad, though the parking outside the apartment can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We know most of the people around the building now. The security guard usually says hello when we arrive in the morning. We don’t have a big reception area or anything fancy. You just walk in and someone is usually there to talk. It’s just us doing our jobs, making sure the files are in order before we head home for the day. Sometimes the rain here in Kerala really pours down and we just watch it from the window.
