Rehman Stores

Rehman Stores has been a part of Infantry Road for as long as I can remember. We sell a bit of everything, the kind of things people realize they ran out of at the last minute. The shelves are pretty packed, so you have to look closely to find what you need sometimes. It’s a bit cramped in here, especially when more than three people are browsing at once. We know most of the regulars by name and what they usually come in for. It's not a big supermarket, just a local shop where we try to keep the basics in stock. Infantry Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of traffic outside our door. Sometimes we just sit and watch the cars go by when things are quiet. We get deliveries throughout the week, so there are usually boxes piled up in the corner waiting to be unpacked. It’s just the way it goes. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to stop by. It’s a simple way to run a business. We handle the cash, bag the items, and have a little chat if there's time. Nothing fancy, just a regular store doing its thing every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot, keeping the shelves filled as best as we can for the folks who live nearby.
