Reddy Flour Mill

We have been here on 17th Main for a while now. Hosur Road is always loud, and the dust from the street mixes with the flour dust inside sometimes. It is just how it is. People come in with their bags and we get to work. The machines make a lot of noise, so we have to shout to hear each other over the grinding. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the shop directly. We do not have fancy signs or anything like that. Just the name Reddy Flour Mill on the board outside. Most people find us because they live nearby or they have seen us while they were stuck in traffic. It is a busy spot. We spend most of our day cleaning up or checking the grain to make sure things are moving right. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. You meet all kinds of folks here. Some stay and chat about their day, while others are in a big hurry to get home. We just keep the wheels turning. It is not much to look at, but it is our space. We know the shopkeepers next door well and we share tea in the mornings. That is pretty much how life goes for us here. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a local mill doing what we have always done.
