Our office, Recruiterspro, is tucked away at 16, Thimmaiah Layout. We are in the 3rd Stage, 2nd Block of Basaweshwarnagar here in Bangalore. It’s a decent area with plenty of trees, though they’re cutting some down for the roads lately. The office itself is just a regular building. We’ve got some desks pushed together and a water cooler that always seems to be empty when you’re thirsty. We spend the day talking to people about jobs and trying to keep everything organized. It’s not always easy, and sometimes things get messy, but we manage. Basaweshwarnagar is a place where you can still find a good cup of coffee without paying too much. We often head out for a break when the screens start making our eyes hurt. Recruiterspro isn't a massive operation with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us trying to make sense of the hiring world. We don’t use big words or pretend to be something we’re not. The building on Thimmaiah Layout has its quirks, like the door that sticks in the monsoon and the way the light hits the back room in the evening. We just go about our business and try to do a decent job for anyone who walks in. It’s a practical place for practical work. No fancy lobby or glass elevators, just a workspace in a neighborhood we know well and like.
