Razvi Furnishing & Furniture is based at 2 Byrathi, right in the heart of Crawford Market. Being in the market means it’s always lively and there are people everywhere. Our shop is packed with all kinds of furniture pieces, from chairs to bigger wardrobes. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the front door because we try to fit as much as we can inside. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shopkeepers around. The work involves a lot of lifting and moving things around to show customers. It’s hard work and your back definitely feels it by the evening. We don’t have those big, bright displays you see in the malls. It’s more of a traditional shop where you can see the wood and the fabric up close. We spend our time checking the quality of the items and making sure they are ready for someone’s home. The market can be a bit overwhelming with all the noise and the traffic, but we like the energy of it. It’s a good place to be if you want to stay busy. We just keep things simple and talk to folks who come in looking for a decent piece of furniture. It’s a practical business run by people who know their way around a workshop. We aren't trying to be fancy, just selling furniture to anyone who needs some for their house.
