Ravi Kumar Enterprises

Ravi Kumar Enterprises is just our small family business located over at Jayanagar Borewali Sadak 1611. We’ve been sitting in this same spot for quite a few years now, and the shop hasn't changed much at all. It’s mostly a place where you can find basic hardware and some home repair things that you might need in a hurry. The street outside, Borewali Sadak, is always quite noisy with all the traffic and people going about their day. We open up the shop around nine in the morning and it stays busy until the sun goes down. My cousin helps me out with the heavy lifting and organizing the shelves, which always seem to get messy no matter how much we clean them. We don't have a fancy computer system for the bills, so everything is still done by hand on those small yellow slips. It’s a bit of an old way of doing things, but it works for us and our customers don't seem to mind the wait. The fans on the ceiling hum all day and we keep a water pot in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity or anything like that. We just want to keep the shop going and provide what the local folks in Jayanagar need for their houses. It’s simple work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. Sometimes we even stay open a bit late if a neighbor needs something urgent.
