Rare Metals Manufacturers Co is over at C-147 Peenya New Bel Road, Gokula Extension. Peenya is known for this kind of industrial work and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. We have been at C-147 for a good while now. Gokula Extension is where we spend our days from Monday to Saturday. It is a lot of metal and heavy machines. The floor is hard concrete and can be tough on the feet but we are used to it by now. Rare Metals Manufacturers Co isn't a place with any carpets or nice office furniture. We have heavy workbenches that have seen a lot of use over the years. They are scarred and stained from years of hard work. We get to the shop early and usually stay until the evening light fades away. New Bel Road is close by so there are always cars and trucks passing our building. We hear the constant rumble of the traffic all the time. Inside it is mostly the sound of grinding or metal clinking together. We don't talk about much except the jobs we have in front of us. If a machine breaks down we usually just fix it ourselves and keep going. We keep a small stash of tea leaves and sugar for the afternoons. It is a plain way to make a living but it suits us well enough. Peenya is a busy place and we just try to keep up with the daily pace at C-147.
