Ranganatha Furnishing House

Our shop, Ranganatha Furnishing House, is located in Kempe Gowda Nagar. Specifically, we are at Wakad 39. It is a place filled with rolls of fabric and different materials. There isn't much room to walk around because we try to keep so much in stock. The air smells a bit like new cloth and dust. We have a couple of large tables where we spread things out to show people. The lighting isn't great, but it works for what we need. We spend our days measuring and cutting. Sometimes the scissors get dull and we have to sharpen them. It’s a quiet kind of work most of the time. The neighborhood around Kempe Gowda Nagar is pretty lively, so there's always someone walking past the window. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's more of a warehouse feel where everything is out in the open. We have an old stool behind the counter where we sit when there aren't any customers. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, but we don't mind. It feels like home to us. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this street, but we are still here at number 39. We just take it one day at a time, making sure we handle the fabrics carefully. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We just keep working until it is time to close.
