We’ve been here at Kottigepalya Charkop for a while now, specifically at 28-A, K No 19. It’s a busy spot. Most days we are just busy with the steel work. There’s always a lot of clanging sounds coming from the shop. We started doing this because it’s what we know. The workshop isn't very fancy or anything, but it gets the job done. People usually find us by looking for the sign near the main road, though it’s gotten a bit faded over the years. My hands are usually covered in some kind of metal dust by lunch. We handle a lot of different steel pieces here. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to work, especially when it gets really hot inside, but we keep at it. It’s just me and a couple of others most of the time. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy paperwork. We prefer to show people what we’ve finished making instead of talking about it. The neighbors know us as the guys who are always working late. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit since we set up shop here. It’s just a regular place where we work hard and try to make things that last. You can usually hear us before you see us. If you walk past the gate, you'll see stacks of metal waiting to be cut or welded. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy.
