Ramani Stores

You can find Ramani Stores over at Kudle Gate on R C Dutt Road, right at number 710. It is a spot we have occupied for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We mostly stock daily items and things that people in the neighborhood need in a hurry. The shelves are quite crowded, and sometimes you have to move one thing to see what is behind it. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but we usually know exactly where everything is kept. R C Dutt Road gets very busy during the evenings, so that is when we see most of our visitors. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations; we just keep the lights on and the doors open. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights for a bit, but nobody seems to mind much. We chat with the regulars about the weather or the local news while they wait. It is a very normal, everyday kind of shop. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things. If someone needs something, they just walk down the street and ask. We take things as they come and don't worry too much about being perfect. The floor is a bit worn down from all the walking, but it just shows how many people have been through. It is just a simple shop.
