We've been at this spot on 7th Main Road for quite a while now. Most people around Palace Guttahalli know the building, even though the numbers changed from 119 to 13 a few years back. It’s a busy area, especially near Jabbar Block. Every morning starts the same way for us. We open up the metal shutters, sweep the front area, and get ready for whatever the day happens to bring. It’s not a fancy setup at all. Just a practical workspace where we get things done without much fuss. The traffic on Vyalikaval Main Road can be a bit much in the evenings, but you get used to the constant noise after a few decades of working here. Sometimes the roof leaks a little near the side entrance when the monsoon is heavy, but we’ve patched it up as best as we could with some plastic and cement. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. We just focus on the actual work at hand. Most of our regulars are folks who live right here in the neighborhood. They stop by, have a quick chat about the rising prices or the local news, and then they move on. It’s a simple way of living. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, new buildings coming up where old houses used to be, but our corner stays pretty much the same. If you’re looking for us, we’re right there on the main road. It's just us.
