Real Wood Furnitures

We have two spots really, one at No 18 A in Dayananda Layout and another at RS Arcade on the Outer Ring Road. Most of our actual work happens in Ramamurthy Nagar at the 6th Cross. If you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of cut wood and sawdust. It gets everywhere, in your hair and even in your tea if you aren't careful. We make all sorts of things like bed frames, dining tables, and cupboards. The shop at RS Arcade in Dodda Banaswadi is where we show some of the finished pieces. The traffic on the Outer Ring Road is always a nightmare, so we hear a lot of horns honking all day long. We don't use those cheap materials that fall apart after a year. We like using real wood that has some weight to it. It’s hard work moving the big planks around, and sometimes we get splinters. Our tools are old and well-used. We don't have a big marketing team, just a few guys who know how to handle a saw and a hammer. Sometimes a customer comes in with a drawing on a napkin and asks if we can make it. We usually can. It takes time to do it right, so we don't rush things. It's just a regular furniture shop trying to build things that last for a long time.
