Rajguru Stores

Rajguru Stores is located right in the middle of the chaos of Avenue Road. We are specifically at No. 2 in the Svk Complex, which is on Channarayaswamy Temple Street in the Ganigarpet area. If you’ve ever been to Avenue Road, you know how crowded it gets with all the booksellers and shops. Our store is one of those places where we keep a bit of everything that people might need. It’s a small space, but we try to use every inch of the shelves. Being near the temple means we get a lot of people passing by on their way to pray or just doing their daily shopping. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. The street outside is always full of vehicles and people carrying heavy loads, but inside we just try to help whoever walks in. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a practical shop where things are stacked up and we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. We deal with all sorts of customers, from people looking for specific items to those just browsing. We don't do any big marketing. Most people just know we are here because they’ve been coming to this area for years. It’s a traditional way of doing business, face to face, and we prefer it that way. Avenue Road is a tough place to work because of the noise, but it's home.
