Rajesh Industrial Corporation

My name is Rajesh and this is my place, Rajesh Industrial Corporation. We are over in Padarayanapura, specifically at 4th Cross Mysore Road Cross 7. It’s a noisy part of town with all the traffic and other workshops around us. We’ve been here for years doing industrial work. It’s mostly metal parts and fixing things for other businesses. The workshop isn't very big, and it gets really hot in the summer because of the machines and the tin roof. We usually have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. Sometimes we get big orders and we have to stay late, long after the other shops have closed. It’s just how it goes when you run a small place like this. My brothers help me out when things get too busy. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising because people just know where we are. If you need something specific made, we usually find a way to do it. The floor is always covered in metal shavings, and we spend a lot of time sweeping it up at the end of the day. Mysore Road is always packed, so getting supplies in and out can be a real headache. But we manage. It’s a bit messy and loud, but we like the work. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks when the noise gets to be too much.
