We sit at S R Nagar 1st Cross, tucked away in S.G.N Layout at number 30. If you come by, you’ll likely see some of our guys loading or unloading chairs from a truck. It’s what we do every day. Rajasthan Tent & Furniture Inc has been around this part of the city for a while now. We keep a lot of stuff in storage, mostly tents and the kind of chairs you see at local events. The layout is usually quiet until we start moving things around. It gets dusty, especially when we are cleaning the fabric or stacking the heavy tables. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult but we manage. We aren’t a big fancy office. It’s more of a warehouse feel where things are always moving. You might find us sitting outside on one of the plastic stools when there’s a break in the work. S R Nagar can be a maze if you don't know the crosses, but number 30 is easy once you get there. We don't spend much time on the computer or anything. We are usually busy checking if the poles are straight or if the cloth is clean. It’s hard work, especially in the heat. But people need these things for their parties and gatherings, so we stay busy. That’s pretty much the story of our place. We just keep the furniture ready for the next call.
