Raja Metal Works

We've been at 7 Sampangiram Nagar for a while now. It's in Koli Chawl. People usually find us by looking for Hotel Geo on G K Marg. We do metal work. It's noisy sometimes. The workshop isn't huge but we get things done. Mostly we just handle whatever metal pieces come in. It gets busy in the mornings. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for trucks to turn. We've stayed in this spot because everyone knows where the chawl is. We don't have a big office or anything fancy. Just the machines and the workbench. If you walk past the hotel, you'll see our sign. It’s a practical place. We keep busy with local orders. My brother helps out too. Sometimes the heat in the workshop is a bit much during the afternoons. We just drink some tea and keep going. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work. It's a hardworking area. We don't really do much advertising. People just walk in or call us. The floor is usually covered in scrap. We try to sweep it up every evening before locking up. It’s just how we do things here. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. There is an old calendar from three years ago still hanging by the door. We use it to scribble down phone numbers sometimes.
