Raj Fishmeal And Oil Company is based out of Madivala Brahhatriya Society. It is a bit of a rough-and-ready place, not a fancy office or anything. We spend our days processing fish to make meal and oil. It’s a smelly job, to be honest, and you get used to it after a few days, but visitors always notice it right away. We have a small team of guys who handle the heavy bags and the machinery. The machines are old and they make a lot of noise, so we don't talk much while they are running. We just focus on the task. Most of our work is physical, moving crates and checking the presses. The society area is usually busy, and we have trucks coming in and out at odd hours. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just do the work and send the product out. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a belt on a machine snaps, and we have to fix it ourselves on the spot. We drink a lot of tea in the small break room we have. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We’ve been here for a while now, and the neighbors know us well. It is just a regular local business trying to get things done every day. We don't really have a big story, just a lot of hard work and fish.
