Nagaraja Traders Rice Mills

Nagaraja Traders Rice Mills is found at 10/113 on Madulri Road. We’ve been running this mill for quite a bit of time now. The building is a bit weathered from the rain and the sun, but it stays solid. On Madulri Road, you can usually tell where we are because of the sound of the machinery and the smell of raw rice in the air. We get a lot of trucks coming through our gate, and sometimes they back up onto the road, which causes a bit of a headache for the neighbors. The yard is usually full of empty sacks and people moving back and forth. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, everyone is covered in a fine layer of white powder from the milling. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings; usually, we just talk to people out in the yard or near the main scales. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't really do any advertising because word of mouth around here seems to be enough. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the grain is processed properly. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We close up when the sun goes down and start all over again the next day. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch if the power flickered earlier in the afternoon.
