Raghavendra Oil Store

We have been here at Nandini Layout Nalasopara 200 for a while now. Raghavendra Oil Store is just a small place where we keep different types of cooking oils for the families around here. Most days are busy with people coming in to refill their containers or just asking what's fresh today. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the new stock arrives and we have to move the big drums around. My father started this many years ago and now I help him out with the daily tasks. We know most of our neighbors by name and they often stop for a quick chat. It’s not a big fancy shop, just a wooden counter and rows of tins lining the walls. People trust us for their daily kitchen needs and that's enough for us. Sometimes the floor gets a little slippery from the oil spills but we try to clean it as much as we can throughout the day. We are usually open very early because that's when most people do their shopping before heading off to work. If you are walking past the landmark 200, you will probably see our blue sign hanging there. We don't do home deliveries or anything like that, people just walk in with their bottles. It's a simple life here and we like it that way. We just focus on giving people what they need for their cooking without making a big fuss about it. The drums are heavy to move, but we manage.
