Raghav Metal Coating

Out here in the Dabaspet Industrial Area, things are a bit different than being in the middle of Bangalore. We are situated right across from the Triveni Turbine factory. It’s a long drive out for some of the workers but this is where the industry is. Raghav Metal Coating is a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. The air always has a bit of a metallic tang to it because of the work we do. It’s a big open space with various tanks and equipment for the coating process. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you just walk in and find someone wearing an apron or holding a clipboard. It’s a practical environment focused on getting the pieces finished correctly. Bangalore Rural has its own pace and we try to stick to it. The trucks come and go all day bringing in raw parts and taking away the finished ones. We spend a lot of time checking the finishes under the lights to make sure they are even. It’s tedious work sometimes but someone has to do it. We have a small break area where we sit and talk about the weekend or whatever else is going on. It’s a no-nonsense kind of operation. We just show up, do the coating, and head home when the job is done. It’s been our way of life for years. The weather out here can get dusty in summer but we just keep the shutters down to stay focused.
