Raft Engineering

Raft Engineering is found at No. 3/1 on 7th Main in Byraveshwara Nagar. We are right off the Nagarbhavi Main Road, which is always packed with vehicles and people going to the markets. The office is a small building with a metal gate that we keep locked most of the time. Inside, it is mostly a mix of desks and some heavy tools we use for our engineering projects. We are a small team and we don't have any fancy titles. Everyone just does whatever needs to be done that day. Sometimes that means going out to a site and other times it means sitting at the computer for eight hours straight. The street outside is narrow, so if a truck comes through, everything has to stop for a minute. We have a small sink in the corner and a calendar from three years ago that nobody has bothered to take down. It is a very practical place where we focus on the mechanics of our work. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny signs. Most people hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. The walls are a pale yellow color and have a few cracks here and there, but the roof doesn't leak and the electricity is mostly reliable. We like being in Nagarbhavi because it is close to where most of us live, so the commute isn't too bad compared to other parts of the city.
