Radha General Store

Down here at Hanumanth Nagar 468, you’ll find Radha General Store. We’re one of those shops where you can find a bit of everything if you look hard enough. From notebooks and pens to soap and snacks, we try to keep the basics on the shelves. The building at 468 isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of space we have. Things are stacked up pretty high, and sometimes you have to move one thing to get to another. I’ve been working here for years, and I know most of the people who live on this block by their first names. Hanumanth Nagar is a nice place, though it gets very crowded during the festival times or on weekends. We don't have a computer to track everything. I mostly just write things down in a big ledger or remember them. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. The storefront gets a lot of sun in the morning, which makes it nice and bright, but it can get stuffy in the afternoon. We just keep the door open to let the breeze in. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning. It’s just a neighborhood store where people come to get what they need for their houses. We spend our time restocking the shelves and chatting with anyone who stops by for a minute. It’s just our daily life here.
