Radha Furnishings

Radha Furnishings is located at 48 St. Johns Road. We have been here for a long time, and the shop is full of all kinds of fabrics and materials for the home. Mostly we deal with curtains and sofa covers and things like that. If you walk into the shop, you will see rolls of cloth piled up everywhere. It can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what you are looking for, but we usually know exactly where everything is kept. St. Johns Road is a busy place, and we get a lot of people walking by and peeking in the window. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who handle the measuring and the cutting. Sometimes the shop gets messy with threads and scraps on the floor, but we clean it up at the end of the day. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. People bring in their old cushions or ask us about making something new for their windows. We don't use any high-tech machines, just the old reliable ones that have served us well. It is a practical business and we enjoy seeing the finished work once a customer is happy with their fabric. We just keep going day by day, making sure we have enough stock on the shelves for whoever walks in next.
