R M G Steel & Cement Traders

Our place is at Plot No. 30, Lig 63, in the Experimental Houses area of Yelahanka New Town. It’s part of the 4th Phase, specifically around the 707 block. We’ve been operating R M G Steel & Cement Traders from this spot for a while now. It’s a busy area with a lot of construction always going on. You can usually hear the sound of trucks or people working nearby. We keep a lot of steel rods and heavy bags of cement ready for whoever is building in the neighborhood. Moving those bags around is hard work, but it keeps us busy. The layout of Yelahanka New Town can be a bit confusing for people who don't live here, so we often spend time on the phone giving directions to our plot. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us making sure the orders go out correctly and the stock doesn't run low. The cement dust gets everywhere, so we are always dusting off the desks and the chairs. Sometimes the weather in Bangalore gets a bit unpredictable, which makes it tricky to transport the cement without it getting damp. We just do our best to keep things moving. It’s a practical business, nothing too complicated. We just focus on getting the steel and cement to the people who are doing the actual building. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the street lights in the 4th Phase start flickering on.
