R J Furniture

R J Furniture has been at this spot in Koramangala VI Block for a while now. We are tucked away near the 3rd Cross in K R Garden. If you come by, you’ll see wood shavings on the floor and usually someone is hammering something in the back. It isn't a fancy showroom with bright lights. It is just a place where we make chairs, tables, and cabinets. Most of our day is spent measuring wood or talking to people about what kind of bed they want. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere but that is just how it goes when you are working with timber. We have a few guys who have been doing this for years. They know their way around a saw. People usually find us because they live nearby or their neighbor told them we do okay work. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the shop and the tools. It gets busy on weekends when folks are off work and looking to fix up their homes. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes the wood delivery is late and everything gets pushed back a day. That's just part of the business. We like being in this part of Koramangala because it feels like a real neighborhood. There is a tea stall nearby where we go when we need a break from the noise. It is just a simple operation here.
