R & M Manpower India

Our office is at 48 Gokula 100 Feet Road, in the 2nd Block. It’s a busy area and the road is almost always full of traffic. R & M Manpower India is basically just a few rooms where we try to match people with jobs. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters. We have some basic desks, a lot of filing cabinets for resumes, and a small area where people can wait for their turn to talk to us. We’ve been doing this for a while and we’ve seen all sorts of people come through our doors looking for work. Some days are very busy with dozens of people waiting, and other days it’s just us catching up on phone calls to different companies. We don't use a lot of fancy words or complicated systems. We just talk to people and see what they’re good at. It’s a lot of listening and trying to figure out where someone might fit in. The office can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually keep the door open to get some air. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with all the paperwork that comes with hiring. Most of our day is spent either on the phone or interviewing someone new. It’s a lot of work dealing with people’s careers, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of it over the years here in Gokula and we just take it day by day.
