We run Pv Jaggery Pvt. Ltd. out in Taluk-Atur. Our mailing address is Post-Devakutti, but mostly we are just known locally as the jaggery place. It’s a rural setting, which is perfect for what we do. The air is different out here than in the big cities. We spend our days processing sugarcane and making jaggery the way we’ve always done it. It’s hot work, especially when the pans are boiling. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a group of us working hard in the heat. Atur is a quiet taluk, and we like the pace of life here. Some days the supply of cane is plenty, and other days we have to wait around. We don't use any fancy tech to run the place. It’s mostly just hands-on stuff and knowing when the consistency is right. People from Devakutti and nearby areas know where to find us. We don't really bother with websites or social media much because we’re too busy with the actual production. It’s a sticky, messy job, but there’s something satisfying about seeing the finished product. We aren't looking to change the world, just keeping the tradition going in our small corner of the world. The workers here have been with us for years, and we’re more like a small family than just coworkers. When the harvest is good, the whole place smells like sugar and smoke. It’s a long day, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
