The shop is located at 350 Satara Road, right near the Bangalore GPO area. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always someone running past to catch a bus or get to the post office. We started Puspak Telecom because there weren't many places nearby to get a quick repair or a decent second-hand handset. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have boxes of cables and chargers stacked up in the corners. I try to keep the glass counters clean, but people are always leaning on them. Most of our day is spent looking at small screws and trying to fix charging ports that have been jammed too hard. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking noise that I’ve stopped noticing, but customers sometimes ask about it. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit board. Satara Road gets really dusty in the afternoons, so we are constantly wiping down the display units. It’s nothing special to look at, just a regular telecom shop doing what needs to be done. We’ve had the same sign outside for years, and it’s faded a bit in the sun. If you’re passing by the GPO, you’ll probably see me sitting on the stool out front during a quiet minute. It’s a decent living and we like the people around here. They know we won't overcharge for a simple battery swap. It’s just us, working away through the noise.
