Running Punnet Steel Traders out of Peenya 2nd Stage keeps us on our toes. We are at number 88 on Andharalli Main Road, which is always packed with vehicles. You can hear the horns honking all day long from the office. It’s a busy industrial area, so there is always someone moving something. Our place isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. Steel bars and sheets are stacked up wherever they fit. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time backing in because the main road is so tight. I’ve worked here for a while now and I’ve learned to ignore the noise. We have a small crew and we mostly deal with local builders who need stuff fast. The floor is concrete and stays cold even in the summer. There’s a calendar on the wall from three years ago that no one ever took down. We aren't big on decorating or making things look pretty. It’s a warehouse first and an office second. Punnet Steel Traders is just a regular spot where people get what they need. We drink a lot of chai to stay sharp. It’s a lot of manual work and checking numbers. Dealing with steel isn't easy on the hands, but it’s what we know. If you're driving down Andharalli Main Road, you'll see our gate at 88. Just look for the stacks of metal out front. We aren't hard to find if you know where to look in the Stage.
