Prince Times & Telecom

We are located out in Hoskote and have been operating Prince Times & Telecom for a while now. The shop is a bit of a mix because we deal with both old-style watches and modern mobile phones. I learned how to repair watches from my grandfather, so I have all these tiny screwdrivers and tweezers that I still use every day at my desk. On the other side of the shop, we handle mobile recharges and sell basic phone accessories. It makes for an interesting day because one minute I am working on a delicate clock spring and the next I am explaining a data plan to a teenager. The walls are covered in clocks of all shapes and sizes. They don't all show the exact same time, so there is a constant ticking sound in the background that I find quite peaceful. Hoskote is growing fast, but our shop still feels like a local corner spot. People come in to get a new battery for their watch or to fix a cracked phone screen. It is just me and my nephew working here most of the time. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open up the shop, sit at the bench, and wait for whoever needs help to walk in. Sometimes we have a cup of tea with the neighbors while we work. It is a steady life and we like being part of the community.
