Premier Metal Agency is located right in the middle of all the noise at City Market. We are at 41334 Sadar Patrappa Road, specifically in JMG Lane. If you know where the Jamia Masjid is, we are quite near that spot. This whole area is basically nothing but metal and hardware shops. It is loud, it is crowded, and there is always someone shouting for a rickshaw to move out of the way. We deal with all kinds of metal parts here. The shop is packed from the floor to the ceiling with stock. It is hard to move around inside sometimes, but we know exactly where everything is kept on the shelves. We have been here for many years, watching the market change around us, though it mostly stays the same level of busy. The air always smells a bit like iron and exhaust fumes from the trucks. We do not have a fancy showroom at all. It is just a practical space where we can sell our goods and talk to the regulars who come in every week. Most of our customers are builders or workers who need something very specific for a job they are doing. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and writing out the receipts by hand. It is hard work, especially when the weather gets hot and the lane feels stuffy. But it is what we do. We open early to catch the first crowd.
