Pratha Weddings And Events

Being out in the GIDC Estate in Vatva is a bit different for a wedding company. Usually, people expect us to be in a fancy mall, but we’re at Phase II, number 271. It’s an industrial area, so there are a lot of trucks and noise from the factories nearby. We chose this spot because we need the space to store all our event gear—tents, poles, chairs, and all that. Basaveshwara Nagar isn't far, but this estate is where the real work happens. Our office is just a small partitioned area inside the warehouse. It gets hot under the tin roof during the day, but we have a few big fans. We spend most of our time checking inventory and making sure nothing got broken at the last event. It’s physical work. We aren't sitting in suits; we’re usually moving boxes or loading a truck. Pratha started because we saw a lot of people needing help with the logistics side of things. We handle the heavy lifting that nobody sees. Sometimes we get back from a venue at four in the morning and just crash on the chairs. It’s not a perfect life, and things go wrong sometimes—a light breaks or a truck gets a flat—but we just fix it and keep going. That’s just the reality of events in Vatva. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s where we get things done. We like the grit of the place.
