We are located at number 74 on 4th Cross, 2nd Main in Ulsoor. The easiest way to find Pranam Steel Centre is to just look for the Ulsoor police station, because we are right opposite it. It’s a busy little corner of the world. Our shop is full of steel—pots, pans, tiffins, and buckets. They are stacked up high, and sometimes it feels like they might tip over if you aren't careful. We’ve been here for years, and the shop has a certain look that hasn't changed much. The floor is concrete, and the shelves are heavy-duty to hold all the weight. We get all sorts of people coming in. Some are looking for a small spoon, others want a whole set for a wedding gift. We spend a lot of time wiping the dust off the items because the road outside is so active. It can get loud with the traffic and the sirens from across the street. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the inventory inside out. If you ask for something, we usually know exactly which pile it’s at the bottom of. It’s a simple life, selling things that last a long time. We don't do fancy displays or anything like that. We just put the goods out and help people find what they need for their homes. Most of our customers have been coming here for a long time and they know us well.
