Pramod Condiments. We've been here at Sudama Apats for a while now. Shivaji Chowk gets really busy during the evenings. You can hear the trucks going by on the Une Nashik Highway all day. Most mornings start with just opening the shutters and making sure the jars are lined up right. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy when people are coming in and out. The weather gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep it clean. Sometimes the neighbors from the apartments come down just to chat for a bit. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit since we set up shop at number 159. It isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where you get what you need. My brother helps out on the weekends when it gets a bit more crowded. We spend most of our time just checking the stock and talking to the regulars. Sometimes the highway traffic is so loud we can barely hear the customers, but we manage. It’s just what we do every day. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything is in its place. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon and it gets pretty warm. We just keep the fan going and wait for the evening rush. It’s a simple life here at the chowk. We just open up and see who comes by.
