We are located at HAL 2nd Stage Phase 5. The full address is No.1653, 2nd Floor, 10th Main, HAL 3rd Stage, near the Telephone Exchange. It’s a bit confusing because the stages overlap, but once you find the telephone exchange, we are pretty close. Our office for Prakash Freight Movers Ltd is on the second floor. It’s a climb up the stairs, but it gives us a decent view of the street. Being near the HAL area in Bangalore means there is always a lot of traffic and activity. We deal with freight, so we are constantly tracking shipments across the country. The office is usually filled with the sound of several phones ringing at once. We have a few desks pushed together and maps pinned to the walls. It’s not a corporate headquarters; it’s just a place where we manage the logistics of moving goods. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we have to wait for the backup to kick in so we can get back to our computers. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years and know the local tea shops and couriers well. Our work isn't glamorous. It involves a lot of shouting into phones and double-checking weights and measures. We just try to keep the freight moving and make sure the paperwork is in order before the trucks leave the warehouse. It's a busy life.
