Prabhakar Rao

We are over at 38 Hennur Road, right near the spot where Hutcheri Road cuts in. It is in St Thomas Town, which is a part of the city I have always liked for its character. Prabhakar Rao is the name we go by at this location. The building is not anything special to look at from the street, just a regular place with some concrete stairs and a heavy front door that sticks sometimes. We have been at this address for a long time. The intersection nearby can get really crowded during the evening rush hour, so we hear plenty of noise from the bikes and buses passing by our window. Inside, it is a bit more peaceful than the street would suggest. We have a few rooms filled with metal cabinets and wooden desks. There is a window that looks out onto Hennur Road, but the glass is always a bit dusty from the road grime. We try to keep things tidy enough, but the work tends to pile up faster than we can clear it. It is a practical setup for the kind of stuff we handle every day. Most of the neighbors in St Thomas Town are friendly. We see the same people walking to the local shops every morning. We do not spend much time worrying about how the office looks. It works for us and that is the main thing.
