Prabha Telecom is over in Banashankari 2nd Stage, right at house number 30. It’s a quieter part of town compared to the main markets, which I personally prefer. The shop is a small room that we’ve converted to handle all our telecom work. I spend my days here among the wires and the old mobile handsets that people bring in for repair. Banashankari 2nd Stage has a lot of long-time residents, so many of my customers are people I see at the grocery store or the park. We do recharges, sell basic phone covers, and fix whatever small issues come up with the local devices. The address at number 30 is easy to find if you’re walking through the neighborhood. I have a small workbench in the back where I do most of the soldering and cleaning. It’s a simple setup with a few chairs for people to wait and a small television in the corner. I usually open up a bit later in the morning after I’ve finished my own errands. It’s not a high-tech store, just a place with the right tools for the job. Sometimes the rains make the street a bit muddy, but people still find their way to us. I enjoy the technical side of the work and the fact that I can work close to home. It’s just a regular local business doing its part in the 2nd Stage area.
