You can find Power Tech Fab Systems over at 261 Peenya Industrial Area on J M Road. If you know Peenya, you know it’s always busy and there’s always something being built or moved around. Our shop is right in the middle of all that action. We do a lot of fabrication work here, so there is usually the sound of welding or cutting going on throughout the day. The building itself is pretty plain, just a standard industrial setup that suits the kind of heavy work we handle. We’ve been operating out of this spot on J M Road for a while now. It’s a practical location for us because of all the other workshops nearby. Most of the time, the floor is covered with scraps and tools, but we know where everything is. We don’t really have a front desk or anyone to greet you; you just walk in and find someone working. It’s a gritty environment, but that’s how fabrication goes. The heat from the machines can get a bit intense in the afternoons, but we just keep the doors open for some air. It's mostly about getting the parts fabricated and ready for whoever needs them. We don’t do much talking, mostly just focusing on the drawings and the metal in front of us. It’s a steady pace here and we like it that way.
