Our office is on the second floor of the Bhadrappa Complex, right above the Thyagaraja Co Operative Bank in Kamakshi Palya. It is a busy area and finding a parking spot for a scooter can be a real headache some mornings. We spend most of our time looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for work. A lot of young guys and girls come in here hoping to find their first job in an office or a factory nearby. We try to help them fix up their papers so they look okay to the companies hiring. It is not always easy because some people have a lot of experience but do not know how to write it down properly on a page. We keep a few computers running all day and there is always someone coming in to check if a certain position has been filled yet. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we tell people to take it slow. We handle various sectors, from accounting to manufacturing roles. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. It is a simple setup with some chairs for waiting and a few desks where we do the interviews. We have been in this building for a while and the bank people downstairs know us well. We just try to match the right person to the right spot without making it too complicated.
