Porohit Metal Industries

Porohit Metal Industries is based at 33 Magadi Road, over in Sayaji Ganj. If you’ve ever been down Magadi Road, you know it is an industrial sort of place with plenty of noise and dust. That’s exactly how our workshop is. We work with metal all day, so there is usually the sound of cutting or hammering going on in the background. It’s not a quiet office job. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy. We don't worry much about how the front office looks because most of the real work happens in the back. Our clothes usually have a few stains, and the floor is never really clean for long. We just get on with the orders and make sure the metal is handled right. The heat can be a bit much in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any marketing people telling us what to say. We just know our trade and stay busy with the machines. Magadi Road has its own energy, and we fit right in with the other shops and factories around here. It’s a lot of hard work, but it keeps us going. We just do our thing and try to stay out of the way of the heavy traffic. It is honest work and we take it as it comes.
