Pooja Paying Guest

Our paying guest house is located at 41 BTM Layout 2nd Stage in the Uday Society area. You can find us right behind the Bank of Baroda, which is a major landmark in this part of town. Running a PG means there is never a quiet moment from early morning until late at night. We have a mix of students and workers staying with us, all coming from different parts of the country to live and work in Bangalore. The building is a typical residential house that we have adapted to provide rooms and basic amenities for our boarders. We spend a lot of our time making sure the kitchen is running and that the common areas are kept in decent shape. It is a lot of manual work like fixing lights, checking the water tanks, and making sure everyone has what they need. BTM Layout is a very crowded and lively area, so there is always a lot of noise from the street and the neighboring shops. We do not have any fancy management systems; we just talk to the residents directly and handle things as they come up. It is more like a big household than a business sometimes. We focus on providing a simple place for people to sleep and eat while they are away from home. Every day brings a new small problem to solve, but we just take it one step at a time to keep the house running for everyone.
