We are based at the Devaraj Truck Terminal in Yeshwantpur, on Mandvi Panigate Road. Our spot is 19115. Pondy Bangalore Lorry Service is basically about moving stuff from point A to point B. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, paperwork, and waiting around for trucks to arrive or depart. The terminal is a massive, dusty place where there’s always something happening. We spend our time talking to drivers, checking loads, and making sure the lorries are in good enough shape for the road. It’s not a clean job. There’s always oil, diesel, and dust everywhere. We deal with all kinds of goods, from small crates to huge loads that take up the whole trailer. Some days are slow, and we just sit around drinking tea and waiting, while other days everyone is shouting and things need to move right now. We don't have a polished corporate office. It’s just a cabin where we handle the logs and receipts. We’ve been doing this for long enough to know that things rarely go exactly as planned on the road. Breakdowns happen, traffic gets stuck, but we just keep the lorries moving as best as we can. It’s a tough business, but it’s what we know. There's a lot of coffee and tea involved in getting through the night shifts when the big rigs are coming in. We just stay here until the last truck is sorted out and the gates are finally quiet.
