About Plywood & Glass Hardware – Telecom in Bengaluru
Our place is over in Gandhi Nagar at number 325. If you have ever been around here, you know how busy the streets get with all the shops and people moving around. We deal with plywood and glass hardware, so the shop is usually full of large sheets leaned up against the walls. You have to be careful where you walk so you don't bump into anything sharp or heavy. There is always a bit of sawdust in the air or the smell of cut wood. It is a practical kind of place, not somewhere you go for the decor. We spend most of our time measuring things or helping the carpenters load up their trucks out front. Gandhi Nagar is a good spot for this kind of work because everyone knows to come here for building materials. The building we are in is older and has its own quirks, like the squeaky door and the narrow stairs in the back. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Even so, the way we do things hasn't changed much. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work. It is a lot of physical labor, but it feels good to be productive. We don't use any fancy computers for everything; sometimes a pencil and a scrap of paper work just as well for taking notes.
