Plunk Furniture Shop

You can find us at 1084 on 12th Main in Indira Nagar, right in the Hal 2nd Stage area across from the Corporation Bank. Our shop is usually full of the smell of cut wood and polish. We have different pieces of furniture sitting around the floor, some finished and some just waiting for a bit more work. It’s a busy street, but once you step inside, it’s all about the wood and the tools. We spend our hours measuring out planks, sanding down rough edges, and making sure the joints fit right. It’s not a shiny mall store; there’s usually a bit of sawdust on the floor and tools scattered on the workbenches. We talk to people about what kind of table or chair might fit in their house, and often they bring in sketches or photos of what they want. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just manual labor and keeping an eye on the details so the furniture doesn't wobble. Some days are spent mostly in the back working, and other times we are out front talking to folks who stop by while they’re at the bank across the road. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we just keep doing what we know, which is working with our hands to put things together.
