Placement Arm

Placement Arm doesn't have a single fixed office address listed here, as our work is often done wherever it’s needed, as per the resume. We’ve been operating this way for a while, focusing more on the people we help than on having a big building with our name on it. Most of our day is spent looking through applications and trying to match folks with the right kind of work. It’s a lot of reading and a lot of talking on the phone. We don't use any fancy corporate language or complicated systems to do our jobs. We just try to listen to what someone is looking for and see if we know a place that needs them. It’s a very straightforward process. Since we don't have a regular shop front, we tend to be more flexible with our time. We might be working from a home office one day and meeting someone at a cafe the next. We started doing this because we wanted to make the whole hiring thing feel a bit more human. It can be frustrating for people to just send resumes into a void, so we try to be the bridge that actually connects them to a real person. We keep our overhead low so we can just focus on the actual work. It’s a quiet way of doing things, but it’s been working out for us and the people we help.
