Phoenix Events

Phoenix Events is just a small group of us working out of Indira Nagar at 751 Market Road. This road is always crowded and noisy, but it’s where we feel at home. We started doing this a while back because we realized we were pretty good at moving heavy stuff and getting things sorted for parties. It isn't a fancy job. Most days involve dragging metal poles out of the back of a truck or untangling miles of black cable. We don’t have a big polished office with leather chairs. Instead, we have a small room filled with stacks of plastic chairs and boxes of decorations that we probably should have labeled better. My clothes usually end up covered in dust by noon. We’ve handled all sorts of things, from small backyard gatherings to bigger stuff that takes all night to set up. Sometimes the weather doesn't play nice and we have to scramble to cover everything with tarps. It’s stressful but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't the type to give you a big sales pitch. We just show up, do the heavy lifting, and try to make sure everything stays standing until the party is over. If you walk by Market Road, you'll likely see us loading up the van or just sitting outside having a quick tea break before the next load. It’s a lot of hard work but seeing a space transform is alright, and we plan to keep doing it.
