Phalada Agro Research Foundations Pvt. Ltd is situated at 92/5, Segehalli Cross. We are way out in Kannahalli Village, off Magadi Main Road. It’s quite a drive from the city center, but we like being closer to the fields. The air is a bit cleaner out here, though the road can be a nightmare with the tractors and dust. We do a lot of agricultural work and research, so our boots are usually muddy. The building isn't very new, and the paint is peeling in a few spots near the entrance. Inside, we have some labs and a lot of storage for seeds and samples. It’s a practical space for people who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or corporate meetings. Most of our time is spent talking to farmers or checking on the crops nearby. The village life is slow, but the work we do is constant. We have a small team of researchers who are always busy with their notes. Sometimes we have tea under the big tree near the gate. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. Magadi Main Road is always changing, but our little corner in Kannahalli stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do at 92/5, Segehalli Cross. It's quiet, it's dusty, and it's where we feel we belong after all these years of working the land.
