Pg For Boys

Running this PG For Boys in HSR Layout is a full-time job for us. We are located right behind Sri Krishna Bhavan Hotel, which is a good landmark for the new boys who come to stay. HSR is a nice area but it can get very crowded with all the traffic. Our place isn't like those huge fancy hostels you see in brochures. It is more like a big house where people just live together. We have different rooms, some have two beds and others have three. We try to keep the place clean, but with so many young guys around, it is a bit of a struggle sometimes. My wife handles the kitchen and we make sure there is enough food for everyone. Most of the boys are working in IT or studying nearby. They come home late and usually just want to eat and sleep. We have a small terrace where they hang their clothes to dry. Sometimes they sit up there and talk at night. We’ve seen many batches of boys come and go over the last few years. Some stay for a long time and others leave after a few months. It feels a bit empty when the rooms are not full. We just do our best to make it comfortable without making it too expensive. Being near the hotel helps because the boys can always get a quick snack if they are still hungry. It is a busy life but it works.
