Perkan Food Processors Pvt Ltd is located in BTM Layout 2nd Stage. Specifically, we are down at Dana Bunder on Poona Street, at 105/40. It is a bit of an industrial-feeling area. When you walk around here, you can smell all sorts of things because of the food processing. Some days it is spices, other days it is something else entirely. The facility at 105/40 isn't very large, but we have a lot of equipment packed inside. There are stainless steel tables and machines that make a lot of noise when they are running. We spend a lot of time cleaning up, as you have to when you are dealing with food. It’s a lot of repetitive work. Washing, cutting, packing, and moving boxes. The floor is usually a bit damp from the cleaning. We wear our aprons and just get on with it. Poona Street is always crowded with delivery vans, so getting in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and you are right there in the middle of the work. It is a bit hot inside during the summer months, but we have some fans going. We just focus on getting the processing done and the orders packed up correctly every day. It's hard work, but we are used to the rhythm of it by now after all these years.
